Bluetooth compatibility?

Recently purchased a new Samsung 260 phone, It acknowledges the blue tooth, but is asking for a PIN.....from the Bluetooth and I do not have one, The Bluetooth is about 2 years old and was to be used for another phone...which I never used, and I tossed the packaging...

? Is there a default PIN which comes with the Bluetooth?..which you can change later?
If so, Is there anybody out there that knows it?
 
On a bluetooth headset the default pin is all 0's or all 8's depending on the model, but not for all.

If that doesn't work, email me the manufacturer/model of the device you're trying to pair, and I can find out for sure.
