Does anyone know when the Blues Brothers will be released on DVD again? or anywhere I can buy a copy? Region 1 or 2.

My VHS version has finally bit the dust and it looks like the DVD is currently out of print.

Wasn't there recently an anniversary for The Blues Brothers? There was a double CD of music from both the films.
Love the first movie! Probably the only musical I enjoy watching!

The double cd did not contain any music from the second film. It consisted of music from the original film and various bootlegs (most notably from the San Francisco winter Ballroom)

Unless they released another double cd which I am not aware of.

I think they want to distance themselves from Blues brothers 2000 as much as they can.

Thanks for your reply but they state "This title is currently unavailable to order" on their website.

Perhaps they are working on a SE to be released later in the year?

It's in Amazon's used and new which means it's second hand and not brand new. Probably a private seller which is why the price is so high.
