My father recently bought a 95 Virago with approximately 16,000 miles on it. He took the bike to a repair shop to have the carbs cleaned and tuned up, paid $380.00 for this, he asked them to have it in good running condition. Now after dad got the bike back the pipes are blue and they were not blue before he took it to this shop. Could they have done something wrong to cause the bluing?? they had the bike for 3 weeks you would think it would be perfect! All the pipes are blue! and they are not after market pipes. This bike looked mint before he took it there. He has not even put 200 miles on this bike after he got it back from the shop, he has not even switched the title yet so he has no plates for it so it is kinda hard for him to go to far with it.
The question that i want answered is, could the mechanic have caused the problem when he cleaned and set the carbs???
