blood work

Hi, I just had a routine physical a week ago. I am 54 yrs old, female.
My blood work showed a nuraber of 1100 for alergy and said it should be no higher than 500? My primary doctor said he would contact a hemotolist to see what other test needed to be done. Should I be scared?
 
proabably need more info on what the test was that you had done.. was it an allergy panel? What was the allergy to?
doubt there is anything to be scared of. If it is an allergy to something, you can develop allergies at any point in your life. Just see what the doctor says.
