I am just over 16 weeks and had an amnio 2 days ago. They had trouble withdrawing the fluid and i was called today to give a sample of my blood as the specimen was contaminated. I was worried as I thought the doctor may have hit the baby. what are the risks to my baby and can they still perform the tests?
