I have had these frequently over the years and they respond to corlone pellets (which flatten them straight away) can be quite big and have caused panic with swallowing at first. A dentist one said you have to be sure not to drink anything too hot. Gargling frequently with Difflame gargle usually does the trick along with the pellets. This time one has looked really nasty but is fading now though swallowing is still a bit sore. Has anyone had them turning in to something sinister as this dentist warned me that he had seen such cases when he was a student in hospital. Does anyone have a better treatment I can use. I know this was the result of a cappacino in a student coffee shop being too hot. I asked for water to add at the till but was refused as it was the till person's. Refusing to buy a bottle I added milk but it was still too hot. Am an impatient person I guess! I won't do it again. I wonder if my skin has a layer short or something. Any ideas! Am new to this site.
