Blogger HTML Help??? Layout Themes and Stuff?

I don't know any HTML codes, but I want to customize my blog more. I know there is the basic fonts & colors, but that's not really what i'm talking about. I want the whole blog to have a certain scheme and i don't want to have to pay. i can design something that looks good, i just don't klnow how to get it onto the blog. any suggestions???
 
Learn basic HTML? I learned how to write HTML when I was 15 or so, having access to the internet like a year before that...

HTML is a pretty simple language. I'm a terrible programmer and I could figure it out.

Check out webmonkey.com, they have guides and such.
