Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Top 5 Anime That Made It To U.S. TV

Oh SAC does nothing to alter the original story-line, as far as I know it's a continuation from after the Major has her sort of awakening at the end of the first movie but if you liked the first movie it's a pretty safe bet you'll like Gits SAC. (I love that acronym btw)

But the Second Gig is by far the crowning achievement to my mind. The first series has pacing issues, a bunch of the episodes are a little too talky and self indulgent, even for me who likes that kind of thing but the second gig is just a roller coaster ride from start to finish. It was a much better desicions for them to intersperse the episodic parts within the overall story line to break up the action of the main arc, rather than placing them all at the begining before jumping into the laughing man incident in episode 4, which, while awesome, has some lulls that would have been nice to have some of the stand alone episodes.

Now for all that the first series has a couple of teething problems it enRAB with what is probably one of the most dramatic and heart wrenching sequences ever made in anime... involving robots anyway.
