Blog Talkback: Stop Motion: The Handmade 3D Animation

I would be more specific than "media", which is a word often used negatively for various means of mass communication. "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" may appear misleading to some folks, but I'm sure many viewers would take the time to study the movie or read the credits at least before assuming the writer of the original story had great involvement in the production.

Speaking of "time", I'm sure you meant to use it after "have".

Good overview. And once you've sampled the more mainstream side of stop-motion, track down the more offbeat animators such as Jan Svankmajer and the Brothers Quay - there are some really whacked-out things being done in this medium.

No, he means "if you have seen Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline", not "if you have time". The sentence makes perfect sense to me.

The sentence would have been much clearer if it included "but in case you have seen them". If the sentence from the article were to be read out loud, there would be emphasis on "have".

The sentence reads, and speaks, just fine. You seem to nitpick most articles...on things that are just fine.

As someone who has always found this particular animation style odd, I liked the article. Though, I still don't think JatGP is all that great, the story and the artwork is just way too entirely weird for me to enjoy. I still haven't gotten around to seeing Coraline yet, so I should probably do so soon, it seems I am missing out.
