Brian and I saw Spirited Away in the theater. I distinctly remember the mostly adult audience giving it a standing ovation.

I find it interesting that Miyazaki's films, at least in North America, are mostly seen by adults first, kids a distant second.

Except for Ponyo--I distinctly remember a mother fiddling with her Blackberry for the entire 103 minute duration :sweat: while her daughter sat enraptured by the film.
