Blocking photos on Facebook?

You know how you can remove posts? Well you can take stuff off your homepage. Just go to the side of the news and click something like "Hide all Posts from ..."
 
A friend of mine on Facebook hunts and posts delightful photos of dead, bloody animals on FB and they show up in my news feed. I don't wanna block all his posts, so I wanted to know if there was a way to block only his photos from my news feed.

I don't want to delete all his posts though. I will if I have to, but I would like to avoid it. That's why I was asking how to block just his photos.
