I couldn't even get my phone or computer to "see" each other. I have a Bluetooth USB adapter. Can you help quickly please I only have about a week.

What bluetooth adapter do you have, and which software application are you running with it?

All bluetooth adapters need software drivers to function. If your EZURiO adapter didn't come with drivers on a CD, then you would have to use the Microsoft Bluetooth stack. See if this link provides any help:
