blinkers on dodge ram not working properly?

I recently had to take my steering colum apart on my dodge ram b250 '86 318. There were issues with getting the steering wheel back on properly. i was finally able to look back at it again and correct my reassembly. The tires turn real smooth but the steering wheel is a tad whobbly. I can hold down theturn signal and turn it on and off to create the illusion of a blink. If I turn the wheel far enough around the lights start to blink and if I turn it certain ways the horn goes off. How can I correct this while I still have al the proper tools for this tilt column?

you need to go back in to it and check the turn signal switch and make sure its tightened down all the way, sounds like you may have left the screws loose in the switch its self,i got an older one also and did about the same thing on it once, also make sure none of the wires got pinched that control the turn signals, its real easy to pinch the wires and create a short in those columns, good luck on it.
