Blinker Relay Problem

I have a 98 DR350, its a dirtbike and I'm trying to make it street legal. The last thing I have to do is put turn signals. I have put the turn signals on, but do not know which type of relay to use. The signals only stay lit. My bike has just a CDI unitand a rectifier, no battery. Which type of Flasher Relay should I use? I don't know how many volts my bike is. Thanks in advance.
 
I have, and because my bike has no battery, they dont want to give me the relay for the DR with a battery because it might not work (no returns on electrical items). Does anybody at least know how many volts my bike puts out and what type of current it is? (AC/DC?) I have checked with pepboys, and they have relays with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.. prongs on them. I dont know which one to use!
 
Now my problem is that the head light and tail light blinks with the blinkers, but when the switch is in the off position, the both are fine. What causes this? thanks.
