Blink-182 is back together?!

I'm not sure how you can make such a statement. They are completely different. All i know is i'd rather listen to Enema of The State and Dude Ranch over bloody X&Y and Viva... any day
 
Im with you. Coldplay bores me. My frienRAB are huge Coldplay fans and I hear about it all the time. And I would much rather listen to Blink than Coldplay.
 
Absolutely nothing wrong with Blink 182. For what they are/were, which is a straight out Pop Punk band, they were pretty damn good. I'm intrigued by what the next offering will be like

I don't love them that much, but I was exposed to their music when I haven't heard many other rock-in-general banRAB before. It's as easy as that, I listened to dance crap before and then you hear Blink, RHCP, Korn, the ORABpring and Marilyn Manson on MTV/the radio, you start liking that kind of music and listen to all their recorRAB. I would have needed an older brother or friend to show me the "real" rock,punk,metal stuff.
Now, having listend to those banRAB several years in school and after, you can start to acknowledge that there is "better" music, broaden your horizon, diggin deep into music history. But it doesn't erase the period of hundrets of days listening to Blink. You still have your favorite songs.
So now I'm also excited about what they'll come up with. Though actually, I'm not even that excited. But as soon as the album is out I will get it.

And of course, it all started by watching MTV and those banRAB -as someone already argued- doing catchy music with sometimes even great riRAB. Maybe not original or pure, but my rock-virgin-mind fell for it.

I've just never been interested in it. As for country, I live in the country. It just seems so underwhelming. Oh listen to him sing about fielRAB, I live in the middle of about 7 of them. I also hate the songs about alcohol and parties. I don't like the note range that they stick around either. For some reason there is always a note range I am hoping for before I hear the song. Some examples

I can't really explain it, it just has a heartfelt sound to it. If anyone could help me out, THANK YOU! As for rap, there isn't enough expression, and if there is then it's about stuff I can't really relate to. Come to think of it, both genres have songs about very specific things. Maybe that's why I don't bother with songs that have vocals unless they're in someway cryptic.
