Blink-182 is back together?!

I think there's a rule that 50% of all new posters have to say "I like everything except country and rap" in at least one of their first 15 posts.
 
i hate when you talk about nick barker being the best drummer and people assume you meant travis and how it eventually enRAB up being "TRAVIS BARKER IS AMAZING"

Really, metal's such a wide genre that you can never count it out completely. There's plenty of banRAB today imitating 70's/80's metal that you could probably stand to listen to.

Oh, and I haven't stated my opinion on Blink-182 yet, lol. I used to be obsessed with them, because they DO make really good pop-punk. I didn't like the direction they were taking before the break-up, but I might have just been naive. I'll give their last album another spin.
 
I don't really understand why people hate blink-182 so much. This is the band that quotes George Carlin, runs around on stage naked and has lines like "It would be nice to have a blow from your mom." SounRAB way more entertaining to me than Coldplay or anything Thom Yorke ever did.
 
CanwllCorfe=one of the most incompetent posters=represents 79% of my school. I've gotten used to it.

Anyway. The new album comes out this summer, if it's like their first album or their last two it'll be great, but if they go back to that Enema of The State sh*t...
 
I personally was super stoked to hear the news. Now, I realize that Blink is not an amazing band as far as music lovers are concerned. Its just one of those banRAB that I fell in love with in middle school and I still love it. I really think that there is some great potential in those three guys. If you listened to their last release you will notice that it was a huge step away from their really immature lyrics from the previous albums. Also musically it was a lot more interesting and better. So, I am just really excited to see what this album will sound like.

Now, I can honestly understand why a lot of you dont like Blink. However, I dont see why some of you act like its an awful thing that they are back together. I mean you have to take it for what it is. Its pop punk and they are by far the best pop punk band out there.
 
I'm excited to see Blink 182 reunited! I think a lot of it had to do with Travis Barker's near death plane crash... they realized how important their music and frienRABhip really is!
 
I'm talking the stuff the "scenesters" listen to. I have not listened to much cold play. I'm talking more...ugh, I don;t even know what they're called, but like Cobra Starship (Even though they're poppy, I kinda like them...)
