Bleeding and Moderate to Severe Abdominal Pain

Hi There,
I am new here and wonder if anyone can shed some light on a problem i have had for several weeks. I had a complete hysterectomy in 2007, (i had huge cysts on my ovaries), for the past several weeks now i have experienced moderate to severe abdominal pain and bleeding from the back passage. My bowel movements have changed also in these few weeks, I have a few other medical problems one of which i know is not related to this (epilepsy). I have a hernia (or thats what they think it is), on an old c-section wound which overlaps my hysterectomy wound, my abdomin is looking and feeling bloated. Can anyone help?

Absolutely, you need to see your physician as soon as possible. Only an exam and possibly test will be able to determine exactly what is going on (there are various possibilities). Bleeding always needs to be checked out.

Thank you i will post any news as soon as i get it. I am today awaiting a call from the hospital, about the hernia op i am due to get, i am hoping to find out more from my consultant. Many thanks for your replies.
 
Hi There,
Just a quick note to let you all know that i have been given a date for my operation, its the 30th of July. As far as i am aware they are doing a hernia repair (if thats what it is), and they are checking out the bowel at the same time. Thanks again for all replies.
