bleeding after sex 3 weeks postpartum?

It's A Girl =)

I had a baby just about 3 weeks ago. Normal vag delivery, no stitches no tearing. My doc said no sex until bleeding stopped. Bleeding stopped (so i thought) a few days ago so me and my husband had sex. we were both taking it slow also and i had no pain or anything. after sex i started to spot again, it was more brownish and the next day was more reddish, it is noticeable when i wipe but doesnt even fill a pantyliner in a day, i also have been having off on cramps too. I have been pretty active as well cleaning, kids etc. is this something i should be concerned about or is it normal to start bleeding again (reddish/brown) active sex and being active during the day? what about the cramps?
Pls no rude comments either, my doctor said i could resume sex once bleeding stopped, and i thought it was over so dont be mean

I started to have sex at 4 weeks post partum I started with a brown discharge the next day after I had sex then heavier and heavier I call my DR and said it was probably a period which lasted way longer than my usual period about 10 days maybe it is your period If you start bleeding really heavy like filling up a pad in one hour it is time to call your DR

Edit:Now days not all DR recomend to wait 6 weeks my DR told me when I felt ready it could be 3 weeks or 8 weeks that my body more than anyone would know when I was ready

Wow three week, I was told six at least, but if you are listening to what your doctor said and you are ready for sex MORE POWER TO YA HONEY!!!! (no way could I be mean LOL I am jealous LOL) Even after 7 weeks, I had some bleeding when we started having sex again. with that just make sure to continue (as you are) taking it slow AND make sure you are lubercated enough even if this mean extra foreplay (which I am sure you won't mind) or KY. If you are filling a pad (not a panty liner) then it is time to see your doctor for sure. I am not totally sure about the cramping because I did not have cramping but if it is more than mild discomfort of if it persists for more than a few days you should call your OB

I don't mean to be rude, but you should not have had sex that soon. Regardless of the bleeding, even if you think it had stopped you still should have given your body a chance to recover. You may have done some damage. You should see a doc.
