This thread encompasses the Arrancar Arc and the filler episode between the Bount arc and the canon (Everything from episode 109 on).

Anything that happened in the manga should be in a spoiler box if it has not yet happened in the anime.

Man, has it already been a year since canon Bleach aired? Honestly, it's gone by pretty fast. I wish Naruto's filler was more like this--I found myself enjoying it almost every week. But I'll be glad to get back into the main storyline. I missed it when Ichigo was busting hollows, even if it only occurred for about 16 episodes of the series.

It begins.

Gooda-Bye-o Fillah!

[xspoiler=And now for tradition: next episode titles!]110. Resuming the Substitute Business! The Terrifying Transfer Student

[xspoiler=Episode 111: Uh...this title's really spoilery]111. The Fathers' True Identity[/xspoiler]

112. Vizard and Arrancar

113. The Arrancar Offensive[/xspoiler]

Sweet! At long last, I can watch new Bleach again. I stopped watching the filler at episode 84. I guess I'll eventually go back to finish the arc, but for now, let the new arc commence!

EDIT: Just saw the last bit of Episode 109. Haha, I LOVE how they introduced the transfer student EXACTLY the same way they did Rukia. That actually made me laugh out loud.

I liked the pre-Bleach storyline flasrabroadacks in 109. It was just cute to see Ukitake's third seats bicker again. Ahh the memories of Soul Society. Speaking of Soul Society, it looks like the animation team seem to have gotten back to a level on par with Soul Society. It was almost like the A team took a six month sabatical while the B team took over the Bound Arc.

I enjoyed Shinji's entrance especially, "Thus, the blade is brought down a second time under the name of a mask." I noiticed that the kanji for the title of episode 112 translates to "those who wear masks and those who rip their masks." Just nice.

Let's hope they stayed in SS.

I like how they concluded the filler. Rather than one big clip show encompassing the whole filler arc, they use new and old animated footage of canon material, condense the filler arc into one related theme, then let the filler go.

The three mod souls went back to the human world with Ichigo and company. Let's just hope Urahara just puts them in storage and are ignored for the rest of the series.

Bleach gets a new ending right off the bat. ...And spoils something in the first five seconRAB, but...whatever.

And there will be new BGM music.

...Why are the mod souls still here?

Wow. Good going, Pierrot. But aside from that, I love the new ending.

I'm also very happy to hear that there will be new BGM. But, PLEASE let it be better than that awful filler music.

The sad part is that after the next episode that spoiler would have been safe.

I only think the mod souls are there so that we have established characters for another filler arc or episodes. They could be used for the Don Kononji episodes are new merabers or something like that. I would highly doubt that they would be seen in any battles since their bound sensor won't work on hollows and arrancars.

I was wondering how Perriot was going to do the hollow mask formation. I knew a sped-up version of Hollow Ichigo's mask formation seemed off, but the spirit particle formation seemed off to me as well. I'll just see how Hiyori does it to pass judgement.

I assumed all they had to do was position their hand like they were holding the mask, and then the mask itself would appear instantly. But the animation was pretty bad this episode, so they might tweek the special effects later on.

Did anyone notice they went back to using that "foggy" effect they were using in the first season during Ichigo's hollow battle? I thought they got rid of it since they didn't use it at all during the Soul Society arc and the Bount arc.

O-chan

Small Request - I know I've let this slide in other threaRAB, but could you all refrain from using the term "raw"? The more I think about it, the more it might be problematic from the legal side of things (which is why we have all the no fansub mentioning rules in the first place - because want to stay open and not sued.)

Thank you in advance,

he he, fixed that for ya in accordance with the new rules

Btw, is it me or does Ishida's dad in the latest ep have different hair color than he used to back in earlier flasrabroadacks ??
