Blazing Saddles

My most favourite film - ever! Practically know it word perfect.

Just a few of my favourite lines...

"Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges"

"Hey! Where the white women at?"

"Daddy loves froggy"

"Oh! A wed wose! How....womantic"

"Everything below the waist is kaput!"

"Think of your secretary" (when Gov. LePetomaine is trying to put his pen back in the holder)

"Now go do that voodoo that you do so well!"

"Mongo only pawn... in game of life."

"Harumph, harumph...I didn't get a harumph out of that man!"

oh boy...there are so many! :D

yes and the guy being dragged along by the horse
well that's the end of this suit:D

The fact everyone's surname is Johnson. I used to live in a village like that ha ha - so its truw its truw

Well said. People are racist, not films. And those characters who are depicted as racist are show to be stupid.

If this or any other film shocks you due to its racist or other prejudice content then that can only be good thing because bigotry in society is a nasty thing and should be shown in its full horror, or with a little humour

Yep - but it was a good opening topic to get you all thinking how brillo the film was back then and now:D Cant believe how much everyone has remembered - Mel would be proud it made such an impact:D
Head them off at the pass

Gene Wilder is pure class :D
Richard Pryor co-writes the script with Mel Brooks and Andrew Bergman.

[Jim downs a bottle of whiskey in one long guzzle]
Bart: A man drink like that and he don't eat, he is going to DIE.
Jim: When?

The President with his busty missus "Work Work Work, Work Work Work, Work Work Work, Hello Boys get a goodnights rest I miss you"

Bart & his mate "Now tell me this ain't excatly earth & it ain't excatly water......QUICKSAND !!!!"

Bloke repeating while writing a letter " A Message to Hedley, Tell Him I said Ow"

And on a final note....

Altogether now " well.... Campdown ladies sing this song do dah do dah" :D

Classic Film creases me up every damn time :D

One of the funniest films ever made. Count Basie in the middle of the desert....the end scene. The funniest thing Mel Brooks has done by far.
