BLANK MMS...Still!!!!

This is still and issue...hoping that the update would have fixed it for us.

Stupid part about it is that all my Blank MMS come from only one person that I know of and she's on TMO too. Really Stupid. ARGH!!!!
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~hey red my friend is having the same issue with me he's on tmo and I'm on att he can send but can't receive but when I upgraded to .103 he was able to receive mms! By the way he upgraded as well!
 
Always been intermitten for me. I just spent a weekend on the phone with blackberry support about it and its worked most of the week. Had something to do with me changing my phone or something.

good one stace! has everyone here on this thread tried sending one to themselves (is that a word?) first? also try manually deleting the MMS transport service books and then log in to BIS and resend service books?
 
Yea, I am able to receive them. Have deleted and re-sent the service books. I had lavagirl send me one, got it just fine. Sent myself one, got it just fine.

It's only from that contact...I don't know if it's formated weird or if it's just her phone.

Hopefully...i can narrow this down.

EDIT:

So I asked another friend on TMO with the same phone as the one I get blank MMS from and I receive his. So I'm at a loss.
 
I get the feeling that tmo hasn't given much attention to perfecting the conversions for recieving mms from diff phone types or providers to bb handsets. Too many tmo bb users have the same complaints (and that's just on here & bbf) so I can imagine how many total tmo bb users have this issue. (my current prob is receiving msgs from 1 vzw user that arrives more than 24hrs later. another vzw friend sometimes I receive it within minutes other times hrs)
 
i havent had this problem with sending mms with the new software just with recieving, i just chose the retrieve now option and from that point i was golden
 
I have problems with recieving... and I always have to retry to retrieve my messages over and over again. tmobile mms network for bb is very unstable
