I really wish people would agree to disagree without making patronising comments like this, implying that if you didn't think a film was good, and they did, then it's because you're too stupid to recognise what was going on.
No, I don't think you're any more intelligent or knowledgeable than me if you found this was a successful film, and I didn't. It boils down to a matter of opinion and taste.
If the gimmick of the way it was filmed doesn't work for some viewers, that's not because they're less sophisticated than you.
It just didn't work for me--it didn't scare me, okay? If you found it frightening, fine, I can't argue with that, or say my reaction is superior to yours. Please grant me the same courtesy.
