blade 4 what you think of that idea good or bad?

There's a lot of info on the web about the making of Blade:Trinity and the, ahem, complications of working with Wesley.

I've not read some of the articles for a while and I think the gist of it was that the film Wesley signed up to do was very different to that which was shot (I'm sure I can recall something about a totally different script).

Certainly the focus on the Nightstalkers, rather than Blade, annoyed him. He (rightly) felt they were setting up for a new set of films sans Blade.

One of the articles also explained how most of the footage in Blade is his stunt double. Unless you can see Wesley's face up close it ain't him. I think this explains Blade's new found love for a long sleeved jumper ;)

Allegedly Mr Snipes also spent most of his time in his trailer smoking (and apparently not cigarettes :) ).

I think this info is all in the IMBD forums for Blade:Trinity.....

well there is more, on tv each week but with a guy called sticky fingerz as blade, because, of course wesley didnt want to be bothered.

who is sticky fingerz by the way?

i did read on the internet that they was going to make blade 4 but dont know what happend to it. in blade 3 they could have had a better scripit and more of blade.

Blade 3 was boring. I couldn't give a flying **** about the scooby gang. I loved Blade 2. Blade 3 was like Superman 3 in the sense that the main character seemed to be relegated to a supporting character.

Are we sure that all the vampires died at the end of Blade 3? Didn't that guy from heartbreak high heal? Wouldn't that indicate that he had survived?

I thought there was enough Blade in Trinity myself - the problem with the character is that he's so buttoned up that despite the odd comment from Whistler, there's no real insight into his inner motives (not since the original movie tried anyway) which makes him rather two dimensional.
At least other heroes (Bruce Wayne) have complex alter egos and histories which make them who they are.
Watching him kick butt in the first two was cool, but by the third it was clear there was little more to him which made him seem a bit flat compared to the other characters.

Just watched Blade the Trinity, not bad but it did not matchh up to the two previous films, I just wonder what great threat could be sorted for him next time. Especially as he supposedly finished the main man at the end of Trinity.

Marvel said at the New York Comic Con that a fourth Blade film is a possibilty as they said that "The third movie did very well for us, and there's room for more

Maybe Blade should become the villain after his serum stops working (or some evildoer interferes with it) and he starts creating new vamps which are immune to the virus created in Trinity. He has to be stopped by Jessica Biel and her dad Whistler who comes back from the dead... again.

Really though, it's time to move on methinks.

I think that they should do a Blade 4. It could go along the lines of :

"Blade wakes up in the shower in the background we can hear Whistler calling Blade, that is when we realise that Blade 3 was just a VERY bad dream !!" ;)
