Blacklight Tango Down doesnt save, Wtf?

So, this morning, I decided I wanted to purchase Blacklight Tango Down on my Xbox 360, So before i get into it, my Xbox 360 is a newish probably a year old I don't know, Elite with the 120 Gig HD, pretty basicly put there. Now, I'd seen some Youtube videos about it, but just to be sure i liked it, i got the trial, now when i was getting acquainted with it, i would check the menus, when i went to a screen that had several option to change, although i didn't it would still need to save, when i had gone back to the main menu, It had said, failed to save, then something like, because your hard drive was removed, but, It WASN'T. So i played my first game, loved it, thought that save thing was a glitch or something, and bought it anyway, now from there on i was F*%#ed. anytime i played a game or anything on Blacklight it would kind of save it, if I went to the dashboard I would have to start over. Please, please, tell me if this is an error or something that isn't wrong with my Xbox, it also says i do not have a hard drive in if i go on Halo Waypoint... Help.
