I honestly don't know why they cover their site like that. I mean, I'm sure it weeds out dummies who think "oh it just doesn't exist" but for most of the people who are looking for it, I'm sure they know what they are looking at.

Not really, it just seemed like a good idea at the time, and it went hand in hand with the referral system we had planned.

The main reason was though, that I was sick of getting donations from guest, thinking who the hell is that, then getting another email 10 minutes later, "I just donated can I have an account" my reply "hell no, and here is your cash back".

We could have just hid the donation button from non members though i suppose, but the fake page just seemed a better idea at the time.
