Blackberry Storm2 or Motorola DROID

I was told by Verizon Wireless that the Blackberry Storm2 is what people expected the Storm (original) to be. She said it could have as many apps as the Google device and has one of the best touch screens available...and it's cheaper.

Now I've been approved for an upgrade (definitely a breaking the rule type of early upgrade, they just love me:)) and am not sure which phone I should get.

Your views and opinions?

Another P.S. I know that the outlook on the DROID is very good...but I haven't heard much about the Storm2 actually...so it's just a bit of unknown territory for me.
 
I got the HTC Eris. I liked the phone, but I ended up taking it back due to poor battery life. My GF has the Storm. I thought it was a good phone. I played with a Storm II and thought about getting it.; The one thing that kept me from purchasing the Motorola Droid was the poor camera performance. I think the 3.2 Megapixel in the Storm II takes better pics than the 5 Megapixel Droid.

I know you said you didn't want to hear about other phones, but you should really check out the Omnia II that is coming out on 12/02/2009.. It got really high ratings from most reviewers and seems to combine a good camera with excellent battery life. Also, Windows 6.5 Mobile is pretty good and has applications that rival those of Droid. Just a suggestion.
 
I got the Motorola DROID and I absolutly love it!! My GF got the LG env3 and we are going back to verizon on Friday so she can get the DROID Eris cause another DROID would be too expensive right now. But this phone is amazing, it has everything that you'll ever need in a phone. Get the DROID, it has a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out - the storm2 doesnt have this.
