Blackberry Storm cracked screen!?

If you originally got the phone on 5/15/09, then your warranty expired on 5/15/10, because it's only a 1 year warranty. That doesnt matter in this case anyways though because the warranty does not cover physical damage, like a cracked screen. The only way you can get a replacement is with insurance
 
I have a Blackberry Storm 1 and it has a cracked screen. Adding insult to injury! Before then the touch screen was acting up. I kept having to reset it. My warranty is from 5/15/09 - 6/15/10. What should I do to get another phone if I'm still under the 1 year warranty? Even though I only have a few days left!!!
