I just read what rim plans are in 2009. I'm glad we are finally getting the javelin but it kind of bothers me that at@t are getting the javelin with 3g. I don't understand why rim won't give us the bb with 3g. Also the pluto touch screen blackberry seems really cool does anyone knows which carrier is going to carry this phone. And a picture which really shows what it is going to look like
 
they are smart and not using the 3G to save on battery i bet. no handset needs 3G unless you tether, the hardware is the bottleneck and no need for 3G imo.
 
In addition, TMO uses a non-standard 3G frequency, so why develop it just for a single carrier?

I'm on TMO, but I don't live in an area where 3G is likely to ever be developed. Heck AT&T doesn't have 3G where I'm at either.
 
hey, it's someone who knows how 3G works on a phone!! awesome!! haha.

now, i don't think that 3G is useful for JUST people who tether, however, those would be the ones who would really "see" the results. for everyone else, it would be for something like a dedicated youtube player for example.
 
This roadmap states that the Pluto will not come out for TMO.
