Blackberry Pearl or D900

Long time reader, First time poster.

I was looking into buying a new phone, and right now I'm thinking of either the Blackberry Pearl or the Samsung D900. The important things on my list are call quality, and good user interface. I do quite a bit of texting, but I haven't really had issues with texting usinga numerical keypad before. The other features such as camera and mp3 and stuff are useful too, but I don't need them to be top notch or anything. Which one of these phones do you guys think is a better overall phone for what I'm gonna be using it for? If there are other phones which you guys can recommend, I wouldn't mind looking into those as well. Thanks in advance for any input you guys can offer.
 
d900 is sexy, if I wasn't going to get the 3125 and also the 8525, I would actually get that. My friend has it and it rocks. The camera is sweet, video/music playback is awesome as we were watching family guy on it. Only thing is that the screen playback is a bit small, but I didn't expect it to be a a 52inch plasma. It is also a slide, if that is a positive for you. The pearl is just like any other berry, except with a few added feats like the camera. If you wish to setup emails and such, that would be a great device.
 
Thanks for your input Jayden. I've decided to go with the d900 as its probably more suitable for my needs since I don't really need the email functionality of the Pearl.
