Blackberry Pearl on TMO

Hey.. what is the newest OS for the Pearl? I have .64 on mine, but have been told you can go around TMO and upgrade to a new OS. is this true? any issues with TMO finding out if issues and need service? etc. Thanks.. Also, anyone notice a drop in service (bars) in past few weeks? I have lost 2 bars indoors and 1 bar outdoors.. Just curious.. thanks..
 
I think the newest that TMO is distributing is .64. I've heard that you can load the OS from any provider. I don't know what you would do if you ran into problems though.

Haven't noticed a specific drop in bars..I know sometimes the humid weather in summer isn't real good for reception...

You have the newest OS from TMO (.64), and yes, you can indeed upgrade to any newer OS. There are several threads about this -- here is a nice list with instructions posted by techrishon.
