My Blackberry Pearl 8100 won't charge. There isn't anything wrong with the battery though. I believe the place where you plug the charger into is broken or shorted out. Because when I put a brand new battery in, it turned on. But when the battery is dead I plug the charger in and nothing happens. And I tried new chargers and they didn't work. Is there any (not too expensive) way to fix this? The guy at T-mobile said it wouldn't be worth it to fix and that I should just get a new phone. Is that true or was he just trying to get me to buy a new phone from him?
