Blackberry Curve 8830 picture mail problems (sprint)?

I get the message saying you have a new picture mail! and then it gives me a link to click. it says click here. but i cant click it. its just text. not a link. i have to shut off my phone take out the battery restart it and then it will let me. but if i get another picture after that i have to take out the battery again and do it all over to view it. how do i fix this problem??? and ive gone to the setting where it says "download pictures automatically" and i set it as yes. but it still gives me a link. and nothing
