Blackberry Champion is.....

What is the best blackberry to have and why. I know everyone has a different reason for why they have one. I have an 8700g and I use it for e-mail and keeping track of my daily activities. I pretty much have everything in there I need. If I forget to take it somewhere I freak out.
I love the internet service, and all the downloads I have been getting from going on the site like opera mini, Berry411, pocket express, BBreverse. It has everything I need and I keep hearing about this 8800 and how it will have video and a camera. That seems to be like the antithesis of what the blackberry is, isn't it. Well to be honest I am waiting for the 4.2 upgrade and I hope that will have video, could care less about the camera. And the pearl looks so small, like the razor phone. I like the size of the 8700g, bulky and you can hold it in your hand comfortably. What do you guys think the best one is?

FWIW, I tried a 7130g and an 8700g. I think that ultimately, you'll have to make a decision on the keyboard - suretype or not. The 8800 has been reported to be available in 2 models- camera or not. I'm going to wait for it - for the QWERTY keyboard, bigger screen, and expandable memory.

Yeah I'm with chris, the keyboard is the biggest consideration in my opinion. You also want to consider the Pearl and any new BB's for their multimedia fuctionality.
My choice, I'm an 8700c fan. My fingers are big and me and suretype just can't seem to get along.
I'm also a long tim BB user and got very use to my first 6230. Leaving a QWERTY style keyboard is a big move for me

You know what, I saw the Pearl and I think and this is just an opinion, that I don't like how small and thin it is. Like it is for girls. One of the many things I like about my 8700g is that it is bigger and thicker than most phones. Fits in my hand better and I can hear clearer that those smaller, thinner phones.

I think there are many factors to consider when deciding which BB is right for you. I started with a 7230 and now I am using a 7105t. Sure I miss the qwerty kb and the shortcuts on the 7230 but I love the better screen, speakerphone and better form factor on the 7105t. I probably would not have a problem going to a 8700 or 8800 if it happens to me though.

Not too piggyback too much on what others have said, but the keyboard was my deciding factor. I had the 7130e before upgrading to my 8703e. The SURETYPE is not bad, but I have to admit, having a full keyboard comes in quite handy! And, there isn't much difference in size to me when it comes to haveing the full keyboard on the 8703e.

Bottom line, personal preference/needs will be the ultimate deciding factor on which model you get (and of course the availablity as well!)
