BlackBerry bold 9000 got WET!..?
hey so as i got out the shower i went to pick up my fone because i recieved an incomming call and i guess i wet it since i didnt dry my hands..after that call it began acting weird then all of a sudden
Black screen, all buttons are unresponsive, message indicator LED still flashes. Screen turns on when plugged into the charger or USB but buttons still don't respond and cursor is frozen. I attempted several times to remove the battery and do a hard restart with no success.so i decided to put it in a bucket of uncooked rice which was recommended on a video i saw.. but no luck.. afterwords i put it in a oven because iheard it would help aswell.. still no luck.. then i stumbled accross a video of a man who said to check the battery of the BB and if the white sticker was pink it was because water had gotten inside the BB and touched the battery.. theres also a white sticker on the BB that would determine if the BB is also ruined but the stick or my BB isnt pink its still white..so apparently its just my battery.. So i decided to switch batteries with my friend who also has a BB which he got not to long ago and its still the same.. nothing has changed just different battery packs.. this is really aggravating I would greatly appreciate it if you would be able to help me!
