BlackBerry 9700 vs. Apple iPhone 4 (part 2)

I have a Bold 9700 and have never owned an iphone. I do have a Nexus One that I quite enjoy but battery life is horrendous.

Is there anyone on this forum who owns or sold a Bold 9700 to get the iphone 4? Do you like the iphone or do you miss the 9700.

I have a hardware upgrade certificate and want to buy either a Torch or an iphone 4.

The Torch looks like a flop and RIM looks like it is not going to be around anymore.

I sold 9700 and have a iphone4 ill never go back ! Gmail sync is incredible , love the phone and ihave tried all iphones and always went back to Blackberry 9700 but not this time , great RF great AUDIO

I liked the torch design and the way you use it, but the web browser was abysmal in comparison to the browser on the 600mhz Aria (Android).

I have both and use both.

I use my bold for calling, text, email, and music playing. I use the iPhone 4 for web browsing, camera, netflix, games and apps.

Dude's a troll...doing the same misleading title compared to the post in the BB forum as well... http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php/1671185-Sold-the-Bold-9700-and-bought-an-iphone-4-and-love-it!!!

Please read the post carefully and slowly if you need to. Not trolling. I need to use a hardware upgrade certificate. I am not saying one is better than the other. I want to hear from people who ditched their 9700 for an iphone 4 and have no regrets.

This is an option I would consider. How are you handling the SIM card issue since the iphone 4 takes a micro SIM and the 9700 takes a standard SIM?

Did you buy a SIM card adapter? Does it fit in the 9700 okay? If the thickness is not right, it could be too tight?

I carry both 9700 and iPhone 4 with me. Two cell phone numbers. I have the 9700 for tmobile and the iPhone 4 for AT&T.

So carry both and that solves all your problems.

Used them both side by side, and realized, besides BBM I had no other use for a BB. Everything else is on the iPhone 4, and is executed much better. And like the above user, if you can, carry both. I'm using the 9000 and iPhone 4 for now, sold the 9700 for a profit.

The Torch is a simple disappointment. I played with it extensively, and the only thing attractive is OS 6.0 - so I'll just get the 9780 instead.
