Blackberry 8330

Please post the Blackberry DLL you used!! I have googled it. I can not seem to find a good link to download it from.

aight im feelin really nice today, lol

but u gotta know this first if u plan to do it...

After you get PST to work.....

you must first uninstall blackberry desktop manager, and uninstall sprint mobile broadband if u have it installed too.

Then reinstall sprint mobile broadband (leave blackberry desktop manager uninstalled), run it, and plug in your blackberry.

This will allow PST to work without desktop manager.

Good luck. These are basic directions that take into consideration you know how to install Infosoft PST, the DLL, and find the com port.

One thing though..... I took the battery out to install my storage card, and was no longer on cricket when I turned it back on. I do not know a fix for this other than if you plan to let the battery die or remove it.... it may go back to sprint. I had to "reflash"

This is what has shown to be fact for the 8330.

1. The SPC Address is 0x1067ed90 with max length (look for the only 6 numbers together) I have proved this to be correct.

2. QPST will NOT work.

3. QXDM 2.08 and unipst will change the PRL (however on rebootin the phone it WILL restore the Sprint PRL.

4. QXDM will change the SPC code.

I have a theory that if we can get a newer DLL, then unipst will flash this phone. I believe this cause the Program gives write fail errors when changin the NV settins.

iS ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE WORKIN THIS ISSUE?????

found my SPC for 8330 sprint on line 570, address: 0x103c9e79, length 1703936 with unicdma and winhex. Also , anyone have QXDM 2.08 still ? I could change the SPC with QPST but , it's not changing the PRL . Thanks
