I was really suprised by it .. because I actually really did enjoy watching it . it was different .. but good

Man Christina was really great in this! :D

Sam was great too but she rocked it!

Justin was awesome as well :D
 
I saw it the other day and i liked it a lot. Christina Ricci and Samuel L Jackson are great in it and the music is just fantastic.
 
i really wanna see this!! but it aint out here and i cant afford to order the dvd :lol:
 
Yep, Black Snake Moan comes from that song. I loved that Jackson sang in this. He's on the soundtrack too.

It was definitely an original film which I appreciated.

IMO it ties in well with the feeling of the movie. The movie is so strange and completely different than anything I've seen before that I think an obscure title like this is well fitting. BTW I see that the movie has it's own myspace page www.myspace.com/blacksnakemoanmovie I've put sone banners on my profile because the movie really deserves more recognition IMO.
 
What is the purpose of the title?

All titles have something to do with the movie? What the hell does Black Snake Moan mean? What they live in a town called Black Snake and he's trying to cure her of her "moaning" sexual habits:confused:
 
Nah, it's not like that. Just tell her the movie is an incredibly unique drama and one of the first truly original films to come out in hollywood the past 15 years. I'm sure she'll understand :D


Really though I think this is one of my favorite films now. I'm not a big Justine Timberlake fan either, but Samuel L Jackson and Christina Ricci are both top caliber actors and make this this bizarre and crazy story great
 
I'm not sure if I want to see this movie or not. My girlfriend will think I just wanna see Cristina Ricci in her underwear if I taker her to it. :goof:
 
It took a lot for me not to read those spoilers :lol: I can't wait to see this movie! I think I'm going to write a script and put the word "snake" in the title... That'll surely get Mr. Jackson to star in it! :)

I saw this movie yesterday, and it was fairly good. Not a movie you would want to see if your looking for quality. From the trailer it's not what you'ed expect. Ricci's character has been left by her boyfriend Ronnie (Timberlake) and from then on she's a complete mess and has a need for all thing sexual. The man that Jackson plays is actually trying to help Rae (Ricci) cure her fom her "evil ways". The story evolves and with it you get a better scense of what Rae is really about and why she does the things she does.

Note: Justin does have a small but prominent part in this movie.
 
Ahhh, this movie. It finally was released. I hear it's quite good but I fear the product itself. I'll probably go see it if any of my movie buddies are up to it.
