Black Representation in the media?

For my A2 media summer project I have to write about how blacks are represented in the media with the following headings:
-Slavery
-American civil war
-civil rights
-Africa
-Apartheid
-The treatment and role of black people in world war two
-The treatment and role of black people in the vietnam war
-The treatment and role of black people in the united Kingdom

if anyone could help it would be grateful
