Black N73 housing now on cnn.cn

I think I'm in the same position as you are. I've sent emails to both info@ and cnn@ cnn.cn and comments through Paypal. I think you should just dispute it against Paypal or your credit card company ...

But despite the fact that he doesn't reply his emails and that he doesn't seem to care about bad products... I'm going to take another chance and order from him. He is the only person that has OEM or close to OEM replacement products for sale and for reasonable prices.

~ if I didn't own a real N73 ME, I'd probably get the all white housing from eBay. Someone said that the housing feels as good as the real one, but the slider for the camera doesn't feel as solid. BUT I'd probably JUST use the white housing and get the white faceplate, keyboard and buttons off cnn.cn Then everything would almost feel and look same as a real N73.
 
Ya the first time is always not as planned. Even for me I couldnt for the life of me put the memory card cover back in for almost 30min. Also I forgot a screw lol so the phone wouldnt turn on which freaked me out.

I posted the link to your video post in the wiki. I think the N73 has the most documented housing removal info out of all the phones right now on the wiki lol
 
That's exactly what I did. I ordered the pure white housing off ebay and the OEM white keypad off CNN. Imo, the housing is actually pretty good quality. The only problem that I see is the camera slider, like you mentioned. It's not as "snappy" as the OEM one. Everything else, including the front plate is fine though. Still in the process of getting it on my phone though
 
I believe a few swapped white/black and or red/black

black keypad vs. white or silver, etc

anybody wanna show pics? I think the white front, black back with black keypad sounds hot, anyone? LOL
 
I ordered the keypad and housing today off of them. Even if the memory card door dosent come with it ill use the one that came with my non oem black housing I got a while back off ebay.
 
Lol, if you turn it up there's music in the background, and you can hear random tidbits of conversation between me and the gf (who i made hold the camera)

I'm only half-expecting the minisd door. It's honestly not a big deal without it, i haven't had it pop out on me or anything.
 
of course with oem black housings and the latest me fw standard N73 users have the exact same thing! So I would be happy w/ either.
 
No response from my email either. My order was $96 with the added white keyboard and faceplate.

I've been thinking of ways to paint the maroon cover (it's a dark grey almost black, not a true black). Or, maybe buying one of the ones on eBay to paint.

Shouldn't have to do that! But, I guess after 8 years of international eBay'ing and international buying & selling with a perfect record, it was bound to happen eventually....
