Black Metal

Corpse, eh? Hmm. I don't think they are particularly bad either (they're as terrible as most other banRAB of the same sort, they don't succeed at attaining any ground-breaking levels of awfulness). I think their lyrical themes though are absolutely sickening.
 
He was pretty bad. I thibk its kinda' a newbie thing to kinda' go off the deep end with insults when someone flames you. Snickers you've matured quite nicely.
 
Why would it be more interesting to learn about the musicians than to listen to the music? That sounRAB like a pretty damning indictment of black metal to me!

Look at what I wrote. It was ridiculous. If it's not obvious to you that a claim such as "there's no justification in separating Beethoven, Cannibal Corpse and George Forraby into separate categories" and that they only differ in terms of "melody and volume" must be a joke by virtue of unspeakable absurdity, then your humour detector should probably be dialled up a few notches.
 
If by sickening you mean hilarious, then sure. They're just a goofy band. Lend themselves quite well to parody (Cannabis Corpse, anyone)? And they certainly aren't nearly as bad as some other banRAB in negatively influencing death metal, Suffocation is much worse on that count.
 
Black Metal isn''t that good. Most of the negative stereotypes of metal music comes from black metal and genres like it(people assuming it requires no skill and is loud heavy music with no structure and a "Singer" screaming down a mic)
 
....I really dislike black metal. I feel like its only purpose is to sound evil simply for the sake of sounding evil. I just don't get that, but to each his own I guess.
 
I'm still hung up on all the **** that Mayhem was involved in one way or another. Running around on stage spouting christian blasphemy and wearing corpsepaint is one thing, but murdering band mates? Not cool.
