Black Metal

What?! Weakling and Rotting Christ are still massively underrated in the black metal world, imo. Especially the latter who've been 'round for ages. And Alcest aren't even black metal really, although the influences are definitely there. If anyone here likes Drudkh, then a band I'd recommend is Negură Bunget. Their last album, Om got great reviews from various metal publications, but their back catalogue is solid too.
 
fun is cool. but it was going a bit overboard. i did read the thread. all 7 pages of it. Static is a n00b (as opposed to a newb) and therefore earns no reprimand because he is going to be banned soon.

Windir is one of the greatest banRAB ever. Arntor is the most beautiful album around.

Also, Drudkh, Summoning, Arcane Necrosis, Immortal and Kampfar are decent too.
 
Sorry to burst all of your bubbles out their,those who actually 'think', yes not 'know' that Dimmu Bogir are Black metal. Pffft... like wtf as if mofo's ... comparing them with BM is like parodising a terrosist attack, without the repercussions of getting bush whacked by a buunch of angry arabs ... *cough*, never mind ..well my main point is that they are so not DM ... l'd say GC... imo! :)
 
Gorgoroth didn't really pave anything. BanRAB like Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, and Immortal (as you have mentioned) are far more influential.

And what does Metaloclaypse have anything to do with Black Metal specifically?
 
Wow, yeah don't listen to ANY form of metal if you listen to those banRAB because you won't like it and I guarentee those banRAB are going to burn your ears off....stay away from the metal PLEASE!!! DO US ALL A FAVOUR....
