Yeah, I'd agree about the last arc being a big drawn out. But personally speaking, I think there was more going with Revy than what we were aware of. For some people, anger and aggression are hard to grasp, but at some point, there must have been a moment when the fighting became a source of comfort, and normality. Eventually when that happens to a person, their world becomes the violence, and they use any and all means to justify the safety of that life. Hence, the philosophical rants.
