Oh, yeah!

Revy IS nuraber ONE. Clearly she has it all, the looks, the attitude, and the mean twin guns to match. Of course since Mr. Chang is the only person she looks up to, and recognizes as being better, and becuase I look almost exactly like him, I had to pick him as my avatar.
 
I enjoy Black Lagoon I think that I'd definatly be Revy all the way... I'm as rowdy and tough as her... she is by far my fav character in the show... I like the second episode were they make the boat fly and blow up that helicopter! it is a great show especially the unrated version...
 
Lotton the Wizard was always a pretty cool guy to me, hope we see more of him sometime. Anyway yeah, Black Lagoon is pretty great stuff, but I think Revy sometimes gets annoying with her philosophical rants. Just because you had a mediocre childhood doesn't it's okay to kill people with no problem.

Great action series, most entertaining one to come out in a few years. Season 2 was also good, but the last arc wasn't.
 
Yeah, I'd agree about the last arc being a big drawn out. But personally speaking, I think there was more going with Revy than what we were aware of. For some people, anger and aggression are hard to grasp, but at some point, there must have been a moment when the fighting became a source of comfort, and normality. Eventually when that happens to a person, their world becomes the violence, and they use any and all means to justify the safety of that life. Hence, the philosophical rants.
 
Meh, I can understand from that view point. Early on it just made her seem real heartless, though. Although to be fair, she's softened up by the end of season 2 from what I saw.

Black Lagoon is quite possibly one of the best series to come out since the 90's. It has that old school style of storytelling. And doesn't have to make characters over the top or crazy hair styled to make them appealing....Yup Black Lagoon is sheer awesomeness and i can't wait for season three.

Anyway, Black Lagoon is one of the best action anime I've ever seen. A high production value throughout both seasons ensures great animation and artwork, and a spiffy presentation is possibly more important in action than any other genre.
