Weapon, we have it all.

The Politically Incorrect, kick you in the balls (Or face if you got none) Anime that has everything your mommy always told you never to do. Add American movie refferences and you got one of the best shows EVER.
With the Third Season in the works, we have more shootouts, cussing and messed up Politics to look forward to in the future.
 
Personally I like it when a series enRAB leaving me wanting more (Cowboy Bebop or Elfin Lied). If it goes too long I get bored and look forward to it finishing (Kenshin series).

Black Lagoon IMO went just long enough, so if they make another series I hope it still stays as good.
 
Haduken: Agreed, but One More Season won't hurt. And it is gonna be based on the latest Manga chapters which are AMAZING. It'll be good, alright.
 
I never enough of this show. Also personally I thought the ending of season 2 was knida week. A 3rd season should set it up better for for and end.

I know anime do this a lot but I hate when anime leave you hangen with a million what ifs. >_
 
I used to think the last arc (second barrage) was the weakest, but upon second viewing, I was surprised at how much depth those last episodes added to the characters. The fact that they started speaking english was still surreal as ****.

An absolute must for anime action fans or fans of action period. But this series also contains a surprising amount of depth. Characters are put in tough moral/ethical situations and the show usually pulls no punches in their resolutions. Very powerful in places. It does a excellent job of manipulating you emotionally yet knows when to joke around or go over the top anime stylee. Some fantastic dialogue and one liners litter the series and the music always seems perfect.

Fave Character not called Revvy - Rock, Mr Chan.

Can't wait for 3rd Barrage.

Anyone reading the manga?
 
You DO know that the English Dub IS the better version, right?

The Vampire Twins arc was creepy as hell. I enjoy all the arcs.

And yeah, I'm reading the Manga scans as well as buying them when they come out.
 
It's probably still going to be a while before a season 3 is released. The manga is moving at a very slow pace. But yeah I'm hoping it'll be a big improvement over the Yakuza arc.

That one I just didn't like.
 
I am a fan of the Vampire Twins story arc and by far the best one to me.

The Germen sub arc was not bad as well I like that one.

As for the 3 season I hope they clear up a bit more with the realationship with Revy and Rock . Ya you know they are starten to get more friendly with eachother but thats bout it.
 
Black Lagoon is one anime where I would be perfectly happy if it just stayed ended. Yeah the Revy/Rock thing could be aired out a bit more and I always have time for more Eda (yes, plenty more time) but I am fine with how it is now.

BUT I am going to go with you on this. I am going to allow myself to get mildly excited. (And chances are that Eda will get more screen time, yipee).
 
We could always use more Eda. She is beautiful. I hope they show more of her past.
I don't think their is a woman in this show I DON'T love. Even Jane. She is kinda useless but she knows how to be brilliant. I love it when she goes "Full Flow" about Counterfitting money. Great scene.

Roberta punches Moe MaiRAB in the face. She is hardcore awesome.

Shunhua wears a chinese dress. That is all I needed to love her. But she also uses sworRAB and uses them well. Her Chinglish was a plus too.
 
That's an opinion I do not share. The english version is good, and the actress who did Revy's voice on the dub was pretty good, but I thought Revy's voice actress on the original version was amazing. She made Revy feel like such a bad-ass, and captured her disjointed sense of morality perfectly.

I'm looking foward to, hopefully, a deeper exploration of Revy's past. So many hints in the first two seasons, and I hope they lead to something.

You should because its gonna be lifted from the ongoing manga as opposed to the studio making stuff up to sqeeze more money out of show.

And from what I heard, Its Roberta who gets more 'screen' time. But yeah, nuns with guns ****ing own.
 
I'm also a fan of the vampire twins arc. Very sick backstory on them, and the attitude of not giving a damn about it from the characters was also awesome. I hope the third season has some sort of definitive ending as I thought the second was gonna. This is one of my favorite animes ever. Favorite character not named Revy was Balalaika.
 
i fell in love with Black Lagoon it was pretty funny and thers good action to it. the characters all have their own stories an it makes you want to know more about what twisted lives they have for example the vampire twins

even my little sister who doesnt like anime to much found it amusing
 
Why does everyone like the Vampire Twins arc? Is it the Loli aspect? I mean it was good. Chang showed off his badassness, Balilaika mentioned Oingo Boingo which makes me love her more because Oingo Boingo is my favorite 80's Band EVER. It was real good.But I like the other arcs better. Which isn't to say I don't like the arc.
 
The vampire twins arc was ok, but not the high-point of the series, in my opinion, since it seemed to center mostly on the russian mob. That's not a bad thing, but I'm just saying.

Actually, I don't know what my favorite arc is. The very beginning was hard to beat, with Rock trying to come to terms with the new direction his life had taken. I also liked Jane's arc, because Revy teamed up with Eda, and the action was very intense.
