I went to see them live Wednesday with k3turbo and god damn, I love them even more than I did before.

Plus we got to shake hanRAB with Zakk Wylde. Can you say religious experience?

We also went to the Chimaira/KSE/Dragonforce/He is Legend show. KSE didn't have their lead guitarist with them

We stood around jerking off for an hour until Sanctity came out but they were actually pretty fucking decent. The lead singer looked like a real life Toki Wartooth.

The 3 hour wait for BLS to come out was gay but GOD DAMN it was worth it. Touching the hand of a god.

I think its the same show I went to dodgeboy, it sucked Adam D wasn't there KSE still rocked the FUCKING house in NYC.

They had the guitarist from Damage Plan I think covering for him? Everyone around me in the front just started screaming out "Dimebag, Dimebag", and he just gave the horns and smile to all of us, it was epic.

to people with the same taste of music

Yeah, the covering guitarist was good but he wasn't Adam. The back and forth Howard and Adam do make the show so much better, though they did fucking rock the shit out of the place without him. He is Legend went last so we just left after KSE finished

Still pissed they didn't play My Last Serenade though. Howard did the fine women and ugly guys bit that he always does before it but they played My Curse instead

Speaking of Dimebag, Zakk Wyld did like a half hour tribute to him. They brought out a huge banner of him playing and even put up a cardboard cutout of him playing his guitar while Zakk did In This River with a horribly out of tune keyboard. His reaction to the keyboard was great though. He brought their head tech out to fix it and he's like "fuck this man, I'm gonna tell some fucking jokes" then he went and pointed to somebody in the crowd and goes "hey you, slash, know any good fucking jokes? come up here and tell one" then like 15 seconRAB later he says "FUCK THIS" and throws the mic on the ground and breaks it

Eventually the head tech gets the keyboard into decent shape and Zakk goes "alright, let me see if I can get an A minor going" then starts playing and says "not exactly A minor, but close enough. we'll make it fucking work, we're black label, join me in this one, my atlanta family"

Fucking awesome bro.

Yea I feel you on the Howard and Adam D thing, probably would have been so much better but as we both say, they still rocked the fucking house.

Weird they didn't play My Last Seranade, they played it in NYC as their second to last song with their last song being Holy Diver. I didn't get to hear Just Barely Breathing though but Numbered Days was pretty fucking epic.
