Black History Month. Should there be a Union Soldier History Month to honor

the 350,000 union soldiers who? ... who died while ending slavery? Or isn't that important?
Veterans Day and Memorial Day doesn't work because it honors soldiers from all wars --- not just those who died to free slaves.

What is with you and your attempts to make current racism all right because of the outcome of the Civil War? Try to think like it's 2009 and maybe you'll fit in better.

Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 25 in 2009). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the Civil War), it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action.

White people = worthless and unworthy.

Black people = forever victims in need to reparations

Who cares that a LOT of white people gave their lives saving black people? It doesn't matter. Who cares that many white people are NOT descendants of slave owners and many black people are NOT descendants of slaves? It doesn't matter.

The black leaders want money from the successful people who have worked hard in order to give it to black slackers. The media agrees with this crap, and that's why you'll never hear the other side of the story.

.

No. Their descendants should have to pay reparations...at least according to the twisted logic of some. And people like 0bama, who isn't even descended from American slaves (and may even be a descendant of slave OWNERS on his white mother's side) should receive payments.
