I hadnt heard anything about this film untill I saw the teaser trailer before Borat. I am sure it is by the guys who directed Final Destination but I may be wrong!

Nothing new really..., the original is amazing one of my favourites in horror and the remake looks awful. The remake seems to go more into who the killer is and that was the great thing about the original, didn't know anything about the killer.
