black box left hand corner t.v

...and it was on all channels, not just HD ones. I thought the PIP button was hit inadvertently, but when I tried to get into PIP, nothing happened. The reset was all that worked (ie press and hold the power button on the receiver.
 
well the black box came back again.

This time it showed up on both my t.v's that have a 6100 connected.

I held the power button down and it reset and the black boxes are gone.

I wish i knew what cause it to do that.

This happened to me a few days ago. I couldn't get rid of it so I checked google and found this forum. Thanks for the info guys. Black box is gone for now. We will see how long it lasts. Now just tell me how to get them to cut my bill in half, but let me keep my programing. I pay $125/mth. We in Canada pay the most in the WORLD. The same for cell phones. We are getting burned I think.
 
I have found a way to do this myself, go to the Dollar Store, buy a pair of scissors......These work on ALL the bills that I get through the mail.....
