As Ive stated before, the message on the front page of bh: "The 6th Birthday Its a bit unusual and more sad than the previous ones (birthdays), we are not dead, just resting. We will meet in August."
On a sidenote, asva.info, the hungarian p2p blog, posted that an admin of bithumen commented on a previous post of the blog (in the time bh was already down) and that gives us hope that the message on the frontpage of bh is probably accurate and true. I dont know the nicks of the admins of bh so I couldnt find that comment, the post doesnt give us more info about that either. From: http://asva.info/hazai-tracker-infok-16-2010-07.html (hun).
On a personal note, bh is one of the largest hungarian torrent trackers and that makes me think that they wont close without any official or unofficial statement from the owners, or at least without any leaked information about its closure. And to make this clear again, the goal of the raid this year was not the servers of bh but the servers (also seed servers) of ncore, which is already back online. The raid took place in Hungary while bh is placed outside of the country.
Update: On the frontpage of bh there is a loading image (currently at 55%) and a short message "proceeding".
"As you can remember, the last time when the servers were taken [by the police], a similar message was shown [before the return of the tracker]" - via asva.info (hun: http://asva.info/hazai-tracker-infok-17-2010-08.html)
The update says (UPDATE 2):
"The tracker is working again.
If you already want to continue downloading or seeding, you can do now". The frontend will be available when they hit the 100%, so torrent files cant be downloaded yet.
No, the site is not dead. The message says: "The 6th Birthday Its a bit unusual and more sad than the previous ones (birthdays), we are not dead, just resting. We will meet in August."
