Hi,
I hope someone can help me work out what is wrong. I will go to a doctor if necessary, but don't really like to bother them unless my leg is actually falling off and I need to!
For the last 3 months or so, I have developed a bite like rash on my legs and sometimes my feet. This seems to stay for up to a week and I often don't see it again for a fortnight or so. The rash tends to be in a cluster of between 2-4 lumps and is intensely itchy. It almost always appears on my legs (mostly around my thigh and knee, usually on my left) but has occurred on my feet and once on my arms and chest. The rash is sometimes accompanied by small red dots, but is usually clear. They appear as white flat bumps the size of a mosquito bite and with or without itching eventually turn red.
I've made no changes to soaps or detergents used. My eating habits rarely change and have not since its first appearance. I'm 22 and have no history of skin problems and my known allergies are limited to penicillin and Calpol (obviously this has a massive effect on my life now.
)
I'm not sure what other information is helpful, but would be grateful for some ideas.
Thanks.
