Birth control and unprotected sex?

I went to my ob/gyn today. I been having a irregular period since I was 15 because I had ovarian cysts, which is gone, but later on I have been having irregular periods. I think it was because of me having a gallbladder removal surgery and being a little overweight. So they put me on birth control to start it regularly and so I can lose the weight when I get my weight perfect I can try to conceive pregnancy, but for now I want to be a healthy in future to my future son, So when I start the birth control ( which I had before, but did not have sex) is it ok to have unprotected sex with my husband or will I get pregnant?

pills are 98 or 99% Protection for pregnancy. I bet you have trouble with hair on your face as well, don't you? worry not darling. lose the weight and things would go back to normal.

If you are on birth-control, it is a 99% effective. If your partner ejaculates inside you, there is a 1% chance you will become pregnant, but it is unlikely.Just remember, use a second form of protection for the first week or so from starting the pill. Also, anti-biotics can lessen the effect of the birth control pill, so use another form of protection during this time as well.

the pill isnt 100% that u wont get pregnant u still hav a chance but its small.
